Wait and watch, yes. But what if the wait turns out to be endless and there isn't too much to watch since the plot keeps going round and round in repetitive circles about comings and goings between a bunch of confused people. Ironically, your patience is completely worn out by the first half, which believe it or not, is entirely used to shoot a Punjabi wedding sequence. Okay, DDLJ also used the entire second half to conduct its famous wedding, but remember, there was Shah Rukh, there was Kajol and there were lots of twists and turns in the story. Here, there's nothing, except the growing attraction between two couples: Dia Zayed and Cyrus Tisca. Not quite the perfect debut from Sahil Sangha as director and Dia and Zayed as producers, Love Breakups Zindagi should be treated as a stepping stone to something more substantial -- and original -- from the threesome. Love. Dates. Marriage. Commitments. Relationships. Do we ever ponder on what we leave behind, as we move ahead in life? Not many of us introspect. But LOVE BREAKUPS ZINDAGI, a slice of life film, makes you recall certain episodes of your life. Though the film isn't biographical, one does relate to certain episodes in the narrative for two reasons -- they seem straight out of life and of course, first-time writer-director Sahil Sangha makes an effort to tell it with utmost honesty and simplicity. But, unfortunately, he succeeds to a degree! On the whole, LOVE BREAKUPS ZINDAGI has moments that leave an impression, but they are few and far between. Besides, a weak second hour, excessive length and sluggish pacing makes it a tedious experience! Read more

'Love Breakups Zindagi' is an inoffensive film that has pleasant music and neat production design. First-timer Sahil Sangha directs with an easy hand, giving the film a light-hearted feel. Alas, he's working from a script that offers nothing new or exciting to chew on.
I'm going with two out of five for 'Love Breakups Zindagi'. It's a tiring retread of a once popular formula that's wearing thin now.Read more

Born Free Entertainment’s first ever production, Love Breakups Zindagi is a sheer example of one of those films, which bursts out of the candy floss mould, with no endeavors of adding substance. What adds on to one’s misery is the fact that besides its run of the mill storyline, is the extremely stretched screenplay. The jazzy wedding sequences and absolutely dull conversations between the characters gives the flick its first blow.Music, performances and direction are strong points to some extent. Poor storyline, non-impactful dialogues and editing are weak points. On the whole, Love Breakups Zindagi is a poor affair right from the word go and can be tolerated only for the feel good factor it offers. Go and catch it at your own risk. Read more

Love Breakups Zindagi (as expected) is all about love, life, romance, relationships, guilt and a few tears. An abundance of emotions which hopefully will culminate in a win-win situation for several confused characters two and a half hours later. Some songs and dance routines. Wise mothers. Fun-loving grandmothers. A predictable storyline... time to move on.Love Breakups Zindagi begins on a note of restlessness. Dialogues are stretched, situations are created and actors struggle with lengthy dialogues. For the first few reels Dia Mirza flutters her eyelashes, emits a sigh of pain and the tears are always ready to spill out. All because her boyfriend is committed to the syndrome of 'all work and no play'.If you like cute, cheesy, breezy love stories then Love Breakups Zindagi is for you.Read more

LOVE, BREAKUPS, ZINDAGI is a story that is close to everyone's heart, no matter what age you are at. It has as its central theme relationship complications, which are not new to anyone. The movie also dwells on that 'once in a lifetime moment' that you have to be able to grasp and the ultimate move you have to make, no matter what it takes. You may be in love, but is this love? Tough question, which LBZ makes you answer. Love has no logic... its pure magic! Debutant director (also producer), Sahil Sangha gets it right. Since it is the first for two young actors, on the other side of the fence, I have decided to go a different route to chart the story and also rate the performances. Here's the report card .Read more

The film is pretty average with a predictable story line. The comic factor is also not enough to give the story a new level. The supporting stories also are not clearly stated or developed that could have given it a boost.Sahil Sangha’s direction is average but for the first films looks promising. The cinematography is good although characterization required a little more attention. Music is soothing as Rab Rakha has already become every one’s favourite. Also the script could have been better.Plus Points:Performances,Cinematography.Minus Points:Predictable storyline.FinalWord:Can watch if you have no other option.Read more
